The Midlifers - Artist Bio

The Midlifers is an alternative rock and pop-punk project created by Dutch songwriter Joris Wes in collaboration with Argentine producer and multi-instrumentalist Fernando Etchegoyen.

Inspired by the melodic, guitar-driven sound of Green Day and Weezer, The Midlifers combine energetic pop-punk and alternative rock with memorable hooks and emotionally driven songwriting. Their songs explore themes of friendship, nostalgia, resilience and relationships while blending classic influences with a modern production style.

Every release is professionally produced using human performances, combining live guitars, bass and vocals with professionally performed electronic drums. All recordings are one-stop clearable and accompanied by instrumental versions, making them well suited for film, television, advertising and sports media.

Working across continents, Wes and Etchegoyen have built a growing catalog of songs that balances high-energy anthems with reflective, melodic tracks, creating music that feels both timeless and contemporary.
